Good News | Care That Builds Trust
| WHEN CARE BEGINS BEFORE THE JOURNEY Our mission begins long before takeoff. That was the case for Maria do Carmo. With limited mobility after a clavicle fracture, every step was handled with attention and dignity. A staircase was arranged to help her safely board the aircraft. More than transporting her to Porto Velho for surgery, the mission was to take care of her. | A TESTIMONY THAT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF Her daughter, who accompanied her, shared: It was a peaceful and very b

IDE Newsletter | Presence That Transforms

The purpose was clear: go from house to house, listen to stories, promote health, share faith, and invite people to take part in community activities. Nothing extraordinary at first glance. But in practice, everything changes when there is closeness. Because understanding is not born at a distance. And reality cannot be con

Good News | Welcome and Gratitude
At Asas de Socorro, we understand that when we transport people and luggage, we also carry purpose, stories, faith, and the assurance that God continues to make a way where there seems to be none. These flights shorten distances and strengthen the hearts of those who are weary, afraid, or on an urgent mission. In this edition, we share two powerful testimonies from people who have experienced this firsthand: a pastor who needed to visit fellow believers and train indigenous l

Juan Carlos Costa Sawczuk
From a very young age, Juan Carlos was a passenger on the Asas de Socorro airplanes, as his parents were missionaries. At the beginning of their ministry journey, the family used to travel about 12 days by boat to reach the village where they served. After an accident that resulted in the loss of almost all their cargo, they decided to make the trip by plane — which profoundly transformed the family’s routine. It was in this context of coming and going between the city and t
