Marcelo e Amanda Engelhardt

ree

This is the second generation of the Engelhardt family to serve with Asas de Socorro.

Marcelo is the youngest son of Denis and Rebeca, born in 1991 in Eirunepé, Amazonas. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the State University of Roraima (UERR), where he studied from 2012 to 2016. In early 2019, he moved from Boa Vista, Roraima, to Anápolis, Goiás, for work. However, inspired by the example of his parents, the desire to become a missionary with Asas de Socorro began to grow in his heart.

In August of that same year, he began the Theological Training by Modules (CTM), offered by the Evangelical Christian Theological Seminary of Brazil (SETECEB). During this training period, he met Amanda — a Goiás native with a passion for savory pamonha — and they were married in October 2020. The following year, the couple officially became part of the Asas de Socorro missionary team.

Today, Marcelo serves as an aircraft mechanic, while Amanda works as a writer in the Communications and Fundraising Department. Their daughter, Meline, was born in 2022. The family serves at the Anápolis-GO base.
