Good News | Different Flights, One Purpose

In the Amazon, every flight tells a unique story. More than routes on a map, these are journeys that connect people to care, health, and hope.

This is exactly how Asas de Socorro serves: shortening distances that, for many, would otherwise be impossible to cross, and bringing presence where it is needed most. Each flight is different, but they all carry the same purpose.

On different flights, lives were impacted in unique ways.

Vânia shared her joy:

“The experience was wonderful, perfect. Thank you so much for the trip. It was an amazing experience!”

Denis Ferreira experienced something for the very first time:

“For me, it was a pleasure to fly. I had never been on an airplane before. It was a smooth flight!”

Sueli, who was accompanying a patient, highlighted the safety and care she experienced:

“It was very good and very safe. The pilot was very considerate and gave us all the information we needed. I really liked it!”

Waldizia shared about a delicate moment:

“The flight was good. My son is hospitalized, in the nursery, and they are evaluating whether he will need surgery.”

Different stories. Different moments. Yet all marked by the same care.

| WHAT MAKES EACH FLIGHT SPECIAL

The purpose of Asas de Socorro is not simply to transport people, but to become a bridge between isolated communities and hospitals, between need and response, between pain and hope.

Through missionary aviation, each flight becomes an opportunity to serve, whether in moments of joy, discovery, or uncertainty.

| BEHIND EVERY TAKEOFF

None of this happens by chance. Each flight involves prepared aircraft, trained pilots, committed teams, people who pray, and people who give.

This is a mission built by many, so that many others may be reached.

| YOU CAN BE PART OF THIS

This mission continues because people say “yes”.

 Pray:

  • For new flights and new opportunities;

  • For the safety of the aircraft;

  • For strength for pilots and teams;

  • For favorable weather conditions;

  • For the resources needed to keep operations going.

Each flight is unique. Yet they all point to the same place: service. We keep flying because we know that, on the other side, someone is waiting. Will you join us?
