The first trip of the year began in a different way. The proposal was simple and, at the same time, challenging: to take nothing except Jesus. No major structures, no ready-made answers. Only presence and a willingness to listen. The Puxirum Ribeirinho Mission invited us to slow down, to let go of control, and to enter into something deeper: to listen to the territory, to hear the people, and to truly be with them. We went from house to house not to teach first, but to learn.

In the Amazon, every flight tells a unique story. More than routes on a map, these are journeys that connect people to care, health, and hope. This is exactly how Asas de Socorro serves: shortening distances that, for many, would otherwise be impossible to cross, and bringing presence where it is needed most.
